The condition of the rest of the hull paint was fair.  There was substantial bubbling and water damage from previous shrink wraps and from the current cover.


More of the same, giving an overall impression of the boat in general.  The 350+ lb. bronze centerboard was removed and stored elsewhere.

This photo shows the charring extending outward from the rudderpost and at the top of the rudder.  It's easy to see how flames and smoke poured out of this area and then curved upwards along the hull.
